[REVIEW THIS BEFORE LAUNCH.] This is a working draft covering the site as built. It is not legal advice. Once your company details and any analytics or form tools are confirmed, have it checked — a privacy notice is a legal requirement under UK GDPR the moment you collect an enquiry.
Who we are
Cassio Waste ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, operated by Cassiowaste Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company no. 17406124, registered office 2 Claridge Court, Lower Kings Road, Berkhamsted, England, HP4 2AF. You can reach us at info@cassiowaste.com or 0330 133 5394.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you submit through our quote form: name, business name, email address, phone number, postcode, business type, and anything you write in the message field.
- Nothing else. This site sets no advertising cookies and does no tracking of individuals. [IF YOU ADD GOOGLE ANALYTICS OR SIMILAR, THIS SECTION MUST BE UPDATED AND YOU WILL NEED A COOKIE NOTICE.]
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to run your collection service and issue your invoices and Waste Transfer Notes. The lawful basis is your consent for the initial enquiry, and performance of a contract thereafter. We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass your details to third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with service providers who help us operate — for example our form provider, email provider and accounting software — and only as far as they need it. [LIST YOUR ACTUAL PROVIDERS ONCE CHOSEN, e.g. Formspree, Microsoft 365, Xero.]
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become customers: deleted within 12 months. Customer records: kept for as long as you are a customer and then for six years, to meet HMRC and Duty of Care record-keeping requirements. Waste Transfer Notes must be retained for at least two years by law.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we're using it. Email info@cassiowaste.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page. Last updated 26 August 2026.
